About the Manor

A rear elevation of woodhall manor

Woodhall is a magnificent Elizabethan Manor house, originally built in 1566, later restored in 1903 and more recently refurbished to its present high standard. Set amongst 9 acres of lush country gardens it features 12 luxury bedrooms, four unique reception rooms, a grand country kitchen and conservatory.

Each of the 12 luxury en-suite bedrooms have been elegantly decorated and furnished, many with fine antique furniture. There are two opulent master suites; both featuring four poster beds, the finest fabrics and furniture, plasma screen TV’s, private parlours, ambient lighting and lavish bathrooms.

Most rooms overlook the grounds and surrounding meadows, and thus offer a wonderful panoramic view of the vigour and freshness of Suffolk countryside.

The distinctive rooms within the manor recall the atmosphere of a bygone era. The Bishops room provides drama, and features a fine ornate ceiling and unique oak panelling.

Wood Hall Manor is a place which has the convenience and comfort of modern facilities yet still retains the enchantment of yesteryear.
